Ali Ahmad Jalali (born 1940) is a former Afghan ambassador to Germany. He is a former Interior Minister of Afghanistan from January 2003 to September 2005 and since October 2005 also serves as a Distinguished Professor at the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA) at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C.
